lul, funny because you guys havent been around long enough to know there used to be elites before the desert... I remember capping healing hands in kryta.
They later moved them to the desert on for a reason.

you know... I do believe that Anet have a counter profession spawn generator.
I had enough with RoF areas capping... So much that I think of that statement^
W/N, zoning, 2 closest spawn spots, E and Monk. Let it go, Progressed until 60% done with the mission, looked into another spawn spot, yay, a mesmer boss >.>
Progressed a bit more finally a Warrior! Now, just need one more cap to get 2 caps/run!
*later that time* mission 95%, last couple spawn spot = replaced by normal ver. of foe, one is Ranger.
didnt give up, do 4 more tries, progressed until 95% into the mission, on the 4th yield a long super unbelievable overdue cap!
Whoever thought of that randow spawning bosses, I congratulate you, bright idea! *holding something sharp in hand* x_x;
anyway, for me, all is in the past now..

So true, I had to zone Perdition Rock 21 times to get Obsidian Flesh.
Oh how I miss the fun days in GW

Although that can get really annoying. The trip to them is short usually. Yes, Prophecies has the most annoying skills to cap. BUT, I found Xinrae's Weapon to be the hardest. Not because of the location, but because of all the mobs I had to fight *with oh so many patrols heading right at me while I was fighting*.
But, I think I just got lucky with the RoF spawns. All that can be capped elsewhere, I capped elsewhere, for those I had to cap, I just rezoned after looking at the closest spawn. It wasn't that annoying for me really.

Yeah I agree about the random spawning bosses in Prophecies. Their elites are the hardest to get, though ultimately they can be gotten easily, if he spawned. Fevered Dreams is the one that got to me, boss just wouldn't spawn.

RoF had me wanting to choke the developers. On Perdition Rock I fought my way to the coldstones bosses so many time it memorized the patrol patterns.

obsidian flesh was a bitch. you'd always zone, then you'd find out that he was on the other side of the patrol where you were.. and the cycle continued.
FoC was one of the most fun times i've had in the game. my buddy and i used henchies (this was pre heroes) and fought our way up there.
and yeah, using the signet while the boss used the skill was the most difficult part of it all. i think i capped one while the system was like that.. haha
